Press Reviews

Described in BBC Good Food Magazine (Dec 2007): ‘This Pinot from West Sussex has the keynotes of berry fruit, zesty acidity and delicate earthiness’.

Move To The Country Magazine (Dec 2007) recommends it as an ‘ideal red to go with your bird (the feathered game variety), ideally served lightly chilled to bring out the fruit’.

Try serving with

Goes extremely well with creamy dishes made with lots of butter. Soft or mild cheese like Brie, Camembert, Goats cheese, Cheddar and also smoked cheeses. For meats; it compliments those normally associated with white wines like; Chicken, Rabbit, Game Birds, Pork and Duck. Use herbs and sweet spices, as these work really well with the flavours in the wine. For desserts, our Pinot compliments beautifully with Blackberries, Raspberries, Figs, Plums, Currants and Red Cherries.

Try these recipe suggestions for some ideas; Asian Crispy Duck, Cream of Cauliflower Soup with Wild Mushrooms, Turkey with Orange with Rosemary, Cranberry Duck Tagine, Ragoût of Lamb with Tomatoes and Flageolet Beans, Lamb Kofta Kebabs, Beef Carpaccio, Blueberry Clafoutis.

This wine is best served at 16-18 degrees centigrade
